HTR62 Analog Recorder - Traditional video cassette recorder

The HTR62 is a mobile VCR (Video Cassette Recorder) that is economical without compromising features or durability. It is the ideal solution for a variety of vehicles that need to be monitored. Depending on need, two cameras can be used with the industrial grade VCR housed in a tamper resistant enclosure. The HTR62 recorder can provide up to nine hours of recording on a VHS T180 tape.

The HTR62 can provide more than just video by accepting up to five input signals from the vehicle electrical system. Any one of the five input signals can be utilized to switch the camera inputs; for example, on a school bus, the stop arm signal can activate the stop arm camera.

The HTR62 has an optional GPS system. The GPS recorded data includes direction and vehicle travel speed, and when combined with video, it provides transportation professionals with an effective route planning tool. This information plotted against a map can identify the exact location of the pick-up and drop-off points for transported students, passengers, goods and services.
